THE PROJECT
We were asked by Quiss to design a mousemat that all their employees could use. They had to be branded with the Quiss logo, but other than that we had free reign.
We knew cyber-security was a hot topic in the world of technology and Quiss were implementing security measures across the company, as well as promoting their own cyber-security services.
In order to support their efforts, we decided to create an infographic giving tips on how to create a strong password.
The mouse mats look great, everyone's really happy with them. I'm sure they will help with our efforts to improve security.

THE WORK
We had recently written an article about password security for Quiss’s Talk About IT magazine, so we were able to use information from that to compile 6 tips.
We kept the copy brief and to the point, explaining exactly how each tip prevented security threats and giving examples to help them with creating the passwords.
The design was kept simple, making use of Quiss’s blue colour palette, with the complimentary gold headlines to highlight the main information in the heading.
We went with slightly incongruous imagery for the icons. This was done not only to capture people’s attention and make them curious as to how it related to passwords, but also to make the tip more memorable for the employee.
Once the design was signed off, we sourced a printers that offered good value and a quick turnaround. They were sent straight to the client who distributed them around the office.
THE RESULTS
The employees are now all using the mouse mats and we’ve had lots of good feedback on the design and how useful they are.
